VELLAI POOSANIKAI JUICE FOR WEIGHT LOSS RECIPE

Prep time - 5 mins
Serves - 2 tall glasses
Serving suggestion - as a drink during snack or break time.
Poosanikai / White Pumpkin - 2 -3 meidum pieces
Ginger - 1/4 " piece
Green chilli - 1/2
Jeera / cumin - 1 pinch
Curry leaves - 3-4 nos
Corriander - 1 tbsp chopped
Curd/ Yoghurt - 1/2 cup (low fat, preferably homemade)
Salt - to taste
In a mixer grind together all the ingredients and add salt. Mix well check for taste and serve immediately.
|White Pumpkin Buttermilk|
1. This drink has to be taken daily it helps to take away the water retention and also if a natural coolant to the body.
2. If you are someone who catches cold easily or when you have curd its best to avoid. As poosinikai or white pumpkin and curd are coolants.
3. I personally have this drink during hot summers when the body needs coolant drinks for hydration.
4. You can mix and match ingredients or add chaat masala for a spiced version.
