|Apple Almond Breakfast Smoothie|
Most days I love to skip the regular breakfast and go for a smoothie. Off late I have been including apple to my daily diet and simply loving it. This Apple almond breakfast smoothie is a perfect and filling smoothie without any sugar. Just blend everything together and voila your breakfast is ready on the go. I read somewhere that adding cinnamon apple and almonds helps boost metabolism and when you have this combination for breakfast it keeps you charged for the day.
|Vegan Apple Smoothie|
Recipe - Own
Serves - 1 large tall glass
Prep time - under 3 mins
Apple - 1 red medium
Almonds - 5 nos
Soy milk - 1 cup (no sugar)
Cinnamon powder - 1/3 tsp
Nutmeg powder - 1/3 tsp
Core the apple, chop into rough chunks, add the almonds (you can soak the previous night and discard the water and skin), 1/2 cup soy milk and blend until well combined. Now add the remaining milk and give it a last blend. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
|Apple Vegan Smoothie|
1. I have not used sugar/ honey you can go ahead and use them.
2. You can include almond meal/ chia seeds/ walnuts/ dates to this smoothie or even a ripe banana.
3. For a non vegan option you can add milk.
